This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how JCS Lasertech ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the SketchDXF – CAD Converter mobile application (the "App"). This Policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and applicable Indian data protection law.

By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Summary: We collect your email and name to run your account, your sketch geometry to store your history, and temporarily process your sketch photos through AI. We never sell your data. You can delete everything at any time from inside the App.

3. Data Retention Periods

4. How We Use Your Information

Authenticate and manage your account
Store and sync your CAD scan history across your devices
Process sketch images through Anthropic Claude AI to extract geometry
Enforce subscription plan limits (free: 2 scans/month, Starter: 10, Pro: 25)
Send transactional communications (account-related only — we do not send marketing emails without separate consent)
Improve the accuracy of AI geometry detection

5. Third-Party Services & Data Processors

We share your data only with the following processors, each bound by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA):

Anthropic (Claude AI) — Sketch images are transmitted via HTTPS for geometry extraction. Anthropic does not store your images beyond the request. DPA: anthropic.com/legal/dpa
Supabase — Your account data and scan history are stored in a Supabase Postgres database (hosted on AWS, us-east-1). DPA: supabase.com/docs/company/dpa
Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — OAuth identity only. We receive name and email from your chosen provider. We never receive your passwords.
RevenueCat — Subscription management. Handles purchase verification with Apple App Store and Google Play. Does not receive payment card data. Privacy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple App Store / Google Play — Payment processing for subscriptions. We never receive your card details. Subject to Apple and Google privacy policies respectively.

6. International Data Transfers

Your data is processed on servers located in the United States (Supabase on AWS us-east-1; Anthropic; RevenueCat). If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, these transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

7. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS 1.2+
Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) — only you can read your own data
We do not store passwords — authentication is delegated to Google and Apple
Sketch images never leave your device permanently

8. Cookies & Analytics

The App does not use browser cookies. The App does not currently use third-party analytics SDKs. If analytics are added in a future version, this Policy will be updated and you will be notified.

9. Your Rights

For all users:

Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
Correction — Correct inaccurate data via Profile → Edit Profile
Deletion — Delete all data via Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete my data. Account deletion also available there.
Portability — Request your scan data exported as JSON. Email us to request this.

GDPR (EEA / UK users):

Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
Right to restrict processing
Right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

CCPA (California users):

Right to know what categories of data we collect and why
Right to delete personal information
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising
Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us immediately and we will delete the data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where required by law, by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
